SAHAJ focuses on marginalised and deprived communities, with an attempt to make a practical difference to people's lives and social processes.

SAHAJ is registered as a society and trust. It has also FCRA registration with Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Donations to the society are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80 G.
